For diverse reasons, various families have selected the James Cox Gallery to handle every aspect of organization and sale of the entire collection of artwork that remained in the artist’s studio at the time of his or her death.
The longest record of this specialized service by the gallery is for the estate of Margery Ryerson (1886 – 1987). For over thirty years, the gallery has promoted sales and exhibitions, provided research materials and museum loans, as well as protected and preserved her impressive body of work.
